Since 1997, we have led the effort to develop youth agriculture. Over the years, we have given back over $1,000,000.

Our Mission

The Guadalupe Valley Pecan Classic continues to support the youth of Guadalupe County by purchasing animals and adding onto projects at the Guadalupe County Youth Livestock and Homemakers Show each year. GVPC strives to make a positive difference in the lives of students by supporting their development in leadership, personal growth, and career success in agriculture.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Proudly, the GVPC has been able to maintain its ranking as one of the top 20 buyers for close to a decade.

  • More recently Pecan Classic is now the #1 buyer in Guadalupe County and has also been able to purchase animals at the La Vernia Youth show.

  • In 2022, GVPC helped over 250 students with over $195,000 in contributions.
